Steve Matley has over 30 years of experience in real estate investing, land development, syndication, and construction management involving commercial, institutional, residential and public works projects. He has held positions as: • General Building Contractor (B-License) • Senior Project Manager for an ENR top 50 rated agency construction management firm • Vice-President of Land Acquisition and Forward Planning for a production homebuilder • Owner/President of DCM Group, Inc., a land development and construction consulting firm • Owner of Building Solid Foundations, LLC, a real estate, business & leadership education and media company • President and Principal of Coast2Coast Equities, Inc., a land acquisition, entitlement and development firm Steve successfully planned and syndicated projects with a combined value exceeding $1.5 Billion, including educational complexes, high-rises, master planned communities, production homes, custom homes, public works and infrastructure projects. He has been designated as an expert witness in real estate, development and construction related litigation cases. Steve is a facilitator and speaker, presenting for seminars, conferences and symposiums.

Steve has hosted several radio and television shows on real estate, management, leadership and community involvement, and has been an expert guest on multiple shows and podcasts. His current radio talk show/podcast, “Building Solid Foundations,” is heard on KCAA (NBC affiliate) in Inland Empire/Greater LA area and is streamed on ROKU, Amazon FIRE, Android and multiple podcast platforms. Steve is a Head of the Construction Management Programs at NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego, overseeing undergraduate and graduate degree programs. He previously served as a professor for the Gordon and Jill Bournes School of Engineering at California Baptist University. Steve led the development and WASC accreditation process for the Associates of Science Degree program in Construction Management at San Joaquin Valley College. Steve has served as a Board Member for the Building Industry Association (BIA-SC, San Bernardino Chapter), Member of CMAA (San Diego Chapter), Board Member of San Diego Creative Investors Association (SDCIA), and Board Member & Past President of Inland Valley Business and Community Foundation.
