Shawn Tiberio is a Marine Corps Veteran, Seasoned Real Estate Investor & Marketer, All-World Ironman Triathlete, and Leadership Speaker & Mentor. Rising from humble beginnings and overcoming numerous challenges, Shawn has emerged as an industry authority in real estate and digital marketing.
Growing up in a traditional blue-collar Midwest family, Shawn learned the importance of hard work and stability. However, he dreamed of a life beyond societal expectations. Facing various challenges, including difficulties in high school and not attending college, Shawn enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Serving honourably for ten years as an Improvised Explosive Device (“IED”) expert and completing multiple combat deployments, the military experience honed Shawn’s character and determination, preparing him for life’s battles.
After the military, Shawn dabbled in various jobs, including driving a semi for six months. But he despised every minute of it, knowing it wasn’t the life he wanted to lead.
In 2011, Shawn took a leap of faith and started his own construction company, leveraging his years of experience from working in construction and the skills he acquired during his military service. Unfortunately, Shawn’s first foray as an entrepreneur faced more challenges than triumphs. He didn’t yet understand leads, budgeting, or business operations, and the construction company failed within six months. But Shawn refused to accept defeat.
This was a turning point in his life. He realized that instead of finding work, he could create his own opportunities by buying and renovating properties. With guidance from a coach, he posted an ad on Craigslist and found his first deal. In 12 days, he profited $5k without doing any work on the house. Shawn’s ambition ignited, and he replicated the model 13 times in his first year, averaging $20k per project.
Year after year, Shawn continued refining his approach. Between 2013 and 2018, he successfully relaunched his construction company, growing it to 22 employees across five states.
He expanded into property management in 2014. The business grew from 2 doors to 400 doors under management, all the while still buying and flipping 15 to 20 projects per year.
In 2019, Shawn made a strategic move to sell his property management company and establish his own real estate marketing agency. Having recognized his innate skills in marketing and identifying opportunities, he used these skills to assist other real estate investors to succeed. Since then, he has helped hundreds of real estate firms by generating leads and closing deals while continuing to be an active real estate investor himself.
Shawn’s impressive track record speaks for itself: with over 450 real estate transactions to his name, he has dedicated thousands of hours to teaching and training real estate investing to over 1.5 million people. As a one-on-one coach, Shawn has helped over 1,200 individuals achieve their aspirations in the industry. Shawn’s expertise is widely recognized, and he has been a lead speaker for real estate education platforms between 2014 and 2019. He is also heavily involved with the National Real Estate Investors scene.
As a certified Digital Marketer, Hubspot expert, and Google Ads specialist, Shawn incorporates hands-on experience and cutting-edge marketing strategies to establish himself as the go-to marketing expert in real estate education. He travels nationwide, teaching real estate investors the art of generating more leads, closing more deals, and assisting motivated sellers. Shawn demonstrates how investors can acquire more properties for flipping or holding as rentals, and how to develop systems that attract leads directly to them, streamlining their efforts and minimizing workload.
Shawn has transformed the lives and businesses of many students, with some going on to create their own programs and/or achieve multi-million-dollar annual revenues. His students’ success stories range from completing two deals per month to an astonishing 15 deals per week. Most importantly, Shawn’s coaching has enabled his students to build their businesses the way they dreamed and allowed many to leave their 9-5 jobs permanently.
